Cardiac Imaging Workshop at UF
Our Cardiac Imaging Workshop is held on the University of Florida campus at Shands Teaching Hospital in Gainesville, Florida.
The workshop is a 4 day course designed for cardiologists and radiologists interested in obtaining credentials for the interpretation of cardiac CTA.
The course is a comprehensive, hands-on program offering training in Cardiac CT acquisition, interpretation, image processing, and case reporting.
Our workshop offers participants:
- Interpretation of 100 CCTA cases - Our CCTA database contains a wide variety of indications and findings, as well as cath correlation studies.
- Individualized instruction on dedicated 3-D workstations - A workstation is provided for each participant.
- Participants will join the team each afternoon for the daily case read-out session - Our cardiac team developed from an interdisciplinary effort involving the Department of Radiology and the Division of Cardiology.
- Curriculum designed to benefit physicians preparing for the Cardiac CTA board exam - The curriculum includes observations of CCTA studies, lectures, learning modules, text books, articles, and other materials that will aid the participant as they become proficient in diagnosing and interpreting CCTA studies.
