Cardiac CT Board Review Course Description

The University of Florida CT Board Review Course will be a comprehensive review of all aspects of cardiovascular CT principles and Physics, methodologies, and clinical practice. It is designed to provide the participant with a rigorous and thorough knowledge base in preparation for the Cardiovascular CT Board Examination, through didactic lectures, image-based case examples, reviews of the research literature in cardiovascular CT, and multiple-choice study questions including an audience response system. The course will focus on the "core" knowledge that every practitioner of cardiovascular CT is expected to know, across a wide range of topics.

The dedicated 1 day CT Physics Review session will be a major highlight of the course, which will prepare the participants in depth of knowledge of CT Physics for Board Review Exam.

The course syllabus as well as the content outline prepared by the University of Florida Department of Radiology-Gainesville, will be covered by expert cardiology and radiology faculty.

This activity will be approved for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit by University of Florida CME.

Cardiac CT 50 Case Refresher Course Description

During the program, the course participants will be a minimum of 50 contrast CT angiograms interpreted on a workstation in a supervised teaching environment. The Course participants will be involving CT data acquisition, each case will be identified and patient's data will be manipulated and reviewed. This Comprehensive refresher program; includes all aspects of Cardiac CTA Imaging: work station, anatomy, CAD, plaque analysis, stents, bypass graft and extra cardiac diseases. Category 1 CME Credits: 17.75.
